OKay Folks! I have got some good news! I would like to ask everyone to send LOTS of prayers this way for:
Familia Rofner.
They are the family (mom, and son and two little girls) we have been teaching. We FINALLY got a lesson with the esposo. SO Nerve wracking. And I was so sick and could barely talk. But the spirit was SO strong. We taught the plan of salvacion with an emphasis on families and the law of chastity. I was SO scared he wouldn't react well, because she has told us many times how hard he is. Well. She was wrong. (and I am learning about having WAY more faith than fear) Yes, he is hesitant, but he ACCEPTED a date to be married!!!! We are working on it everyday. They are SO great. The spirit in this lesson was so strong, I was a little emotional explaining the importance of family and the blessings they will recieve. But. We both were given exactly the right words to say. God was with us every step of the way in that lesson. They have a lot of trials, but we are working on them for 21st of June! SO please remember them in your prayers. Also, the wife has come to church every week with her kids, she is SO awesome. The other day we were teaching Bryan (her son) and she gave us black tea. I didnt know what to do, so I left the folleta palabra de sabiduria on the table next to it (I know, sometimes I am a scaredy-cat) but the next day we went to teach her the Palab de sab and she told us, "Don't worry, I found the folleta you left with this commandment, I read it all, and as of yesterday, I stopped drinking all coffees and teas and threw them away". Wow. I was so happy!!! And a leeetle embarassed. Also, when we left the lesson with the spouse, there was a FULL entire, super bright rainbow outside!!!!!! And a lighter one above it. Even though it looks like a frown, I pretended it was god smiling at us :) (imagine that, okay?) Double rainbow alll the way. ;)
Maria.
She is AWESOME. She is doing everything perfectly, I call her our little miracle. She told us the other day that when she becomes Mormon, her aunts aren't going to talk to her. She said, "that's okay, I will be a Mormon anyway". I just love her faith. Her baptism is the 7th of June!!! We are so excited for her.
Our other couples.
We are in the process of 4 other couples. Wish us luck :)
And my other investigators too please :)
Well, I am actually out of time. I had planned on sending a longer email this week because they're always so short, but.... oops. I am sorry!!!
Something I found out here that I LOVE (and don't know why I didn't do it before) is put mustard on your fries. And potatoes. (we eat potatoes EVERY day here, remember) Anyway, its SO good. Maybe better than ketchup... maybe.
For example, a few days ago we taught a man how to pray with contact slip and it says 4 pases; Dear Heavenly Father, we give thanks for, please bless, in the name of Jesus Christ, amen. (you're supposed to put your own palabras) Well, he just read straight from the slip. I started laughing so hard DURING his two second prayer. Luckily, he wasn't offended. But I am so glad it was the end of the lesson because I kind of ruined the spirit. Like I said, I am working on it. haha.
Well, I am out of time. I love you all dearly. This church is true. And if anyone wants to know for themselves, read the Book of Mormon!!! I know I say this every single week, but it is the only way to gain your own testimony of the truthfulness of this gospel. I am so happy to be a missionary and to serve side by side with our Savior Jesus Christ.
Hey everyone! Write me. I love you.
