Maddy on a Mission: 5-12-14 Mostly to mom, sorry everyone!!!

Mom!!! HAPPY BIRTHDAY one more time. I hope you get my little package soon. I hope your days were special. And you got treated perfectly. You deserve it. I'm going to be better at that when I get home. So Allison sent me a letter and pretty much all o f it talked about how AMAZING you guys are and how supportive and how she feels very loved by my family. Thanks mom :)

Sorry If I was a little rowdy yesterday on the call. I was so gleeful. Forgive me. I swear I am a good missionary. I just LOVE MY FAMILY SO MUCH. you are all so good looking its ridiculous. (especially Abbie) Mom, dad, brothers, WATCH HER LIKE A HAWK. Mavi too!!! When does Mavi leave? What activities do you have planned??I want to go to Italy with you Abs!!! Wait for me ;)

Everyone look up 2 Timothy 2:10. It's about enduring hardships and pain so that others can have salvation. And even though it applies reallyyy well for missionaries, it applies well for member missionaries too!!! (thats you guys!)

I don't have much to say because I told you everything ayer.

Zone conference was very inspired and awesome!!! I learned a lot. We had a lesson on loving, EVERYONE, not just the easy people. Like Christ. Charity is the most important quality but probably the hardest. That and humility. But I am working on them both everyday. I want to come back better and different.

Show de talentos was chevere!!!! We sang and played guitar. I almost cried because it was a song about mommys, (best day by tswift) but after several moms said that they remembered their own mothers during my song and it made them happy :)(my comp did a quick explanation of the song in spanish before I sang) its recorded, so one day... like a year from now, you can watch it!

Carlitos' baptism was flawless! Okay, it had a bunch of flaws leading up to it, or disasters, but. BUT. I have never had so many people in a baptism. And he was smiling, more like grinning, from beginning to end. He's such a happy kid with a huge desire to do whats right. I am SO happy for him.

Well, that is all for this week, like I said, I just talked to you all. I love you guys. I was so happy. Not even a little sad. After, I felt bad for not hearing dad or Abbie much, but I feel so blessed to have such a funny, happy, smart, perfect family.

Be good!! I will try and write more next week,. Allison said Holland got to talk to them about Christ and why missions are so hard, and we JUST got to see his talk to presidents about the same thing.
