5-19-14 I want to shout it from the rooftops! My heart is full of love and Happiness.

Something I love about Peru: We get to eat Mangos, Pina and avacado ALL the time. I LOVE IT.
Something I don't like about Peru: Men. haha I'm just teasin', I love everyone. But lets just say I have given away A LOT of folletas de palabra de sabiduria this week ;)

A very very drunk man kept trying to touch me, and a boy in our ward was trying to explain how that's not allowed. Then he said (in spanish of course) "why cant I touch her?? Ah, because she is an angel." Then the next day someone walked up to me, looked me in the eyes and said, " you could be a queen." Then the NEXT day, 2 different men told me they would be baptized and change their lives for me. They told me they had money, and a good place to live and could make me happy. Sometimes, I just say, " lo siento, no hablo espanol." And run. Because I am so embarrassed. Okay, I don't run. I ALWAYS give them a folleta and tell them when they are ready, the atonement can heal them and they can change. THEN I run... hehehe :)

EVERYONE READ ALMA 42. KILLER scripture to understand the reality and the need for the atonement, and understand the plan de salvacion mejor. :)

This week I got to see what happens when people start living the gospel. With Carlos (our convert) and a family we are teaching. Countanances change when people decide to live the gospel. It is a testemant to me that this is the TRUE gospel of Jesus Christ. I LOVE BEING A MISSIONARY. I don't know if I say that enough, but I do. Even when it's hard. Or I am tired and want to give up. ONE smile, ONE change in a person, ONE testimony, ONE act of kindness, etc from my family here in Peru, reminds me why I am here. It reminds me why I CHOSE to put everything on hold for 18 months. Because I want. No, I NEED others to know of this gospel. I need them to know of the Joy, light, peace, happiness and life that it brings. I want to at least give people the option of partaking of eternal life and having these said blessings. I'd give my whole life to let others know of my brother Christ and to come unto him. So, I will. Even after I go home, I will never, EVER stop being a missionary and a disciple of our Savior Jesus Christ. I know he lives and loves us and that through him, we can be healed and find peace in this life and in the eternities.

I love you all. I am out of time to tell about this week, just know that it was a good one filled with lots of little miracles. God loves us and is looking out for us :)

Con bastante amor,
