Okay, this has to be fast. (read Hermana Rhotens blog for better emails)
Monday: I ate stingray!!! We had a potluck and watched Wreck it Ralph (in english!!) So fun!!!
Also, although the testaments movie is a little cheesy, its SO good. Everyone should watch it. It really builds your faith in Jesus Christ. Also, this night we REALLY needed a signature for something. We went to get it and the mom was not there. We asked when she would be back and they said MAYBE the next day, maybe not till the end of the week. That was really stressful because we needed it then. We both said a little prayer and started walking away. Guess what!? Up drove a car with the mom in it!!! We were very very happy. And I am becoming more and more aware of how Heavenly Father really does answer our prayers!
Tuesday: With a member for most of the day! She is so awesome, but very quiet in lessons so I end up talking the most. I prayed really hard for Heavenly Father to feel my mind with thoughts and spanish, it worked. I felt like I understood and spoke very well. He really looks out for his missionaries :)
Wed: I was with a member, then with a different area of sisters, so I wasn't in my area much.
Thursday: we went to Cerro de Pasco!!!! Highest (probably the coldest) city in the world!! I was with the senior comp that day and it was a great day! We didn't have too many lessons but the ones we did have went GREAT!!! That night they had a ward activity of mixtura de postres, and the missionaras were the judges. It was GREAT fun... only we had to eat some pretttyyy nasty stuff. I loved it. It was closer to a fear factor. haha. That place is cold! And no heating anywhere, but I think it would be really fun to serve there!! (knock on wood) Oh. But getting there and coming back almost KILLED us. At one point, the speed limit said 35 (k) and he was going 110(k) no big deal. They just swerve a ton, are driving on mountains, pass every car and drive in the wrong lane. We just laughed the entire time. I think I do that instead of crying... hahaha.
Friday we came home and we had a regular work day :)
Saturday we tried to go visit everyone and get them to sign our recuerdo books and at night bishop took us out for chinese food for meeting our baptism goals as a ward!!! It was SOOOO good. I miss food. Like, different food. haha Also!! I washed my own clothes!!! I needed things and I just decided to do it! SO I did. I am becoming very domesticated.
Sunday. Eating contest. haha. We went to a members house and she fed us 7 dishes. Literally. I wish I had time to explain it better but I only have 2 minutes left!!! Anyway, read Hermana Rhoten's blog. She is pretty funny and detailed!!!
Cambios are tomorrow!! Wish me luck (or pray for me) I am excited but nervous! I also probably wont have Hermana Rhoten any more which is sad because I really truly love her. A LOT.
